Finding a quality music teacher for you or your child can be a challenge.  Traveling Musician takes the guesswork out of finding the right teacher for your family.  You can be assured that all of our teachers are qualified music professionals.   Traveling Musician teachers are college-educated and have multiple years of teaching experience.  Many of our teachers are Pennsylvania-certified music teachers.  All of our teachers love to teach as well as perform. 

Our teachers love music and love to share music with others.  Whether you are a hobbyist or aspire to a career in music, our teachers can help you reach your musical goals.  We promote discipline and practice, but also encourage our students to have fun making music.  We believe in giving our students a strong foundation in theory and technique, as well as exposure to a variety of genres of music.  As a result, our students develop into well-rounded musicians with a fundamental love of music.

We believe that the best place to study music is in the home.  Besides the convenience, it allows the teacher to get a sense of how the student is practicing and how their practice space is set up.  The students do not waste valuable lesson time unpacking and packing up their instruments.  Music and materials are less often lost or forgotten since they stay in the practice/lesson space.  In-home lessons save you valuable time and money.  Rising fuel costs, wear and tear on your vehicle, and the stress of driving to the weekly appointment are other reasons in-home lessons are ideal.

We stress the importance of weekly hour lessons.  Hour lessons give the student the most opportunity to ask questions, learn important fundamentals such as theory, and address their musical development in depth.  Shorter lessons are available for children under eight years of age.  Since it is never too early or late to engage in music learning, we teach people of all ages.  Let us customize a program of music education for you or your child.
